The Army Apprentice National Memorial

Minutes of a General Meeting held at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire, on Wednesday, 7th September 2010 at 1300hours.

Members Present

G.B. Berrangan, David Chapman, Keith Thrower, Mike Davis, Max Warwick, Gordon Bonner, Johnny McGahan, Mo Hope, Ted Cooper, Colin Taylor, Mike Crook and Pat Eastwood.

Minute1.

The meeting opened at 1300Hours. The Chairman welcomed members attending and in particular, gave a warm welcome to Colin Taylor (Carlise association), Mike Crook (Chepstow association) and Pat Eastwood (Harrogate association).

The Chairman then outlined changes recommended and required by the Charity Commissioners to the original AANM Constitution (see Minute 8 of MSC meeting dated 17 February 2010) to enable the AANM to be registered as a Charity.

A copy of the amended constitution was distributed to all members present.

After consideration the members present approved the amended text, which resulted in a proposal as follows:

The constitution is to be amended to incorporate the recommendations made by the Charity Commissioners.

Seconded by: Keith Thrower.

Carried.
